Xero Tolerance, Zombie Extermination

Players: Gliz Caldo, Nykerian.

Kelly checks her weapons if they are fully loaded. On her there is a Vz.61 Skorpion with a drum-mag, P90 with a flash-light attachment, and a G18 pistol already set on full auto with a thirty round pistol clip. She turns on her flashlight attached to her Xero Tolerance issued combat and hazard armor that is mounted on her left shoulder. Holding her P90 she scans the front entrance of the shopping center.

"Big Xero wants us to check out this building. Apparently it has a low zombie population, but it is so large. This might be mostly a CQB job, sub-machine guns or short barreled weapons at best. Standard clear procedure. Any survivors cannot be spared."

Lee stood by her and smirked. He was carrying a FN F2000 assault rifle, with telescope sight and 40mm FN EGLM grenade launcher and a compact XM8 rifle with a shortened barrel and a Beretta 93R. He stepped closer to the door to the building and looked at her. "Well then the faster we get this done the faster we can get back to civilization."

"Good think you don't have morals. Last guy risked us by letting a woman and her sick child leave. Killed him and the family myself. Well like you said, sooner as we get this done."

She opens the front door and enters. The place is pitch black, doesn't help since it is night time and forecast predicts rain, a big storm in fact. Already there are black clouds forming around in the sky. The shopping center was abandoned a while ago, there is even trails of dried blood here and there.

"I will tell you now: I hate basements. They always gather down there."

He grinned and raised his Xm8 and powered up his night vision goggles. He looked around slowly and waved for her to come in. "Entry way is clear." He said as he waited for her to move in. "Just don't turn into a scared little punk if we do have to go down there." He said and glanced at her. "Didn't they give you night vision gear with your armor?"

"The night vision takes up too much room for the Zombie Daze. You know, a electronic force that's much like an EMP, collides with their brains makes them daydream instantly. Kind of gives them life for a little bit, based off of the failed tests to cure zombies. Since it can't cure, but it can stun. With this I thought it was more useful. In case there is a reason for me to be a scared little punk in the basement they will all be daydreaming about munching my ass as I am opening fire on them."

He laughed and rolled his eyes. "Yeah well your light's gonna attract them." He said and started to move deeper into the building. There was a loud bang from a room down the hall to the left and he raised his hand stopping as he aimed down the hallway.

At the bang Kelly became silent quickly. Aiming her gun in the other direction in case they are focusing the wrong way. Her back is almost to his.

"Low zombie population, it shouldn't be an issue. Either way we have enough bullets to kill more than enough zombies."

He glanced at her and nodded. "I'll tell you something. Never trust intel...they always downplay everything." He said as there were three more bangs. Each came from a different direction and he cursed under his breath. "Get ready I think we'll have a huge fight on our hands"

Kelly holds the P90 in one hand and her Skorpion in the other. She sees a few of them appear from stores across from her.

"Ah shit."

She steps forward to give her partner some room and to give herself so accuracy so she has a better chance at hitting their heads.

He frowned and after a couple three round bursts from his rifle he switched to the grenade launcher on and shot one down the hall. As it impacted on a zombie's chest it exploded and a large blast of flame shot back down the hall. Lee pulled her out of the way letting the flames roast the zombies that were close to them.

There were more of them coming out of the halls and stores. Kelly puts her P90 away as the clip was almost out. She pressed a button on her helmet to contact Big Xero. The transmission can also be heard from Lee's helmet.

"Big Zero, this is Kelly and Lee. We took the Shopping Center Job. This is WAY more than a small zombie population we are dealing with."

"Understood."

"Don't give me that shit! There are more zombies for a low population, so far we are dealing with medium population here."

There was a pause.

"Understood."

"For fucks sake! Is this Blunder?"

There wasn't a response.

"Look here kid, stop fucking with the mission board. Me and Lee were equipped only for a low population mission! If we die I'm coming after you! Then I hope to Gods I mutate into something big and scary so when I kill you it will be horrible!"

Pressing on the button to stop the transmission she smacks a Zombie with the P90 to cause it to stumble.

"Blunder is so lucky we are all elites."

Lee tossed a few grenades down the hall and then kicked the door open pulling her back out of the building glad they didn't move too far in. "Good thing I was prepared for this!" He said as the blast fused the metal on the doors. "I put a few cases stocked to the brim with ammo and other gear in the trunk of our transport." He said walking over to it.

Kelly approaches their mini-APC, which is really a heavily armored truck made of black steel with Xero Tolerance written on the side in white letters. She opens the back of it.

"We still got a job to do, got to clear it out."

She reloads her guns which their mags were empty. Hoping into the truck she comes back out switching her P90 and Skorpion with a FAMAS and AA-12.

"There are other ways in."

He looked at her as he had a FN SCAR-L / Mk.16 rifle, 2nd generation prototype, and 2 "Groza" OC-14 / OTs-14 Assault Rifles with silencer and telescope sight hanging off him adding to his other guns. "I think you'll wanna keep those if we get swarmed it's easier to switch guns than reload." He said as he strapped a large ammo pack on and loaded it up two clips popping out the sides from the pack on his back ready to be used.

"Actually I think I just got the wrong clips here."

She removes the standard mags from the guns and added drum variations. Making the FAMAS have thirty rounds from two hundred, and the AA-12 from eight shots to twenty. She replaces the G18 with her Skorpion.

"Think I have more than enough for Spray-n-Pray?"

Lee smirked. "Take a ammo pack trust me we're gonna have to piss bullets" He said and grabbed a few extra ammo clips . "I'm ready let's go make some zombies go splat"

"I think I have more than enough."

Kelly steps into the driver's seat and starts to drive the mini-APC to another entrance. Hopefully Lee hopped into the back. This entrance was the docking for all of the stores. Looks like there are a lot of open areas. Some of the doors look busted open.

"Right we should blast some of the busted open doors and keep one door we can lock. In case we need to leave and come back for another day. Also we can seal the whole place up and set it on fire if we need to."

Lee looked at the doors and frowned. He shook his head. "Look at the edges of the doors and at the ground. there's fresh blood. Not a good idea to go in through here. But we should seal these doors except for one...for a potential escape route. I think our best bet would be to go up that ladder and in through the roof."

"That's kinda close to what I said. Anyway getting to work."

Kelly picks up some of the door sealing devices which kind of looks like C4, except from a pale white it is brownish yellow. She puts it around the edges of the doors except for one that they can easily lock. As she was placing the stuff near the bloodied and smashed up cargo entrance she could hear low-toned noises on the other side. She gets the sealing-stuff was placed and takes out a detonator.

"I heard something behind one of the doors. Probably a mutant."

Just then a long fingered hand with hooked claws reach around the busted cargo door. Kelly pressed on the detonator on instinct. The door sealing suddenly expands and overflows around the door then suddenly it looks like it burns onto the building as it hardens into a bright yellow. The hand looks like it is trying to move.

"Well maybe I wasn't quick enough."

He frowned and pulled her back from the door. "Stay back for a sec...I think that thing will break free. He said and he aimed the grenade launcher of his rifle at the wall above the door and fired causing it to cave in. "We'll have to hold onto grenade to make a hole in that rubble on our way out." He said before going over to the ladder to the roof.

Kelly follows behind Lee. Up on the roof it looks like there was once survivors as there are messages for help. Kelly heads for the roof access door, opening it she sticks her FAMAS in and checks for Zombies as she made her way down the stairs into the second floor of the shopping center.

Lee sighed and shook his head. "I doubt we'll find any survivors now........makes this easier." He said and followed her down the stairs. He powered up his night vision goggles and once they were on the second floor of the shopping center he began to scan the area around them. "Hmmm they must still have something to eat if we're not up to our necks in zombies by now."

"Even if we do find survivors we still have to kill them. There are waaaay too many zombies to take chances. Families would lie to protect their sweet little baby who soon starts crawling on walls and bites everyone. That's what happened to one of the first teams, and I will be dammed I will let that happen to us."

Looking over a rail Kelly can see all of the Zombies that were going after them at the front entrance.

"Got any explosives?"

Lee nodded. "Yeah I know I know, I was just saying things will be so much easier that there won't be any." He said as he pulled a couple grenades off his belt. He pulled the pins and chucked them over the rail and they fell into the darkness before lighting up the first level and wiping out a large amount of zombies.
